Compacting solutions

Our machine technology makes it possible tocompact wire ends to extremely precise and completely monitored final dimensions. Thanks to the precise tooling technology involved, the cables processed this way have no projecting wires and no burr. The compacting technology does away with the need for wire end sleeves and achieves smaller dimensions for later installation. This is an enormous advantage particularly for micro-system engineering. In addition, in a possible subsequent process cables can be welded to terminals whose geometry and package dimensions do not make them suitable for direct wire connection at all or only to a limited extent. Depending on the parameters chosen, compacting can be carried out from light adhesion of the individual wires through to the solid copper end. We also offer this process for all systems from the manual workstation through to full automation. Here, solutions for single wires, twisted pairs or multiple sheathed cables round off our range of products. For fully automated solutions we offer systems for braided wires off the roll, for compacting / cutting, so that their ends can subsequently be connected with terminals.

For use on cable processing machines we have developed special modules that can be adapted directly to press stations. Modules with sequencer functionality are available for these applications too, so that different cross-sections can be manufactured in sequence without set-up times and downtimes having to be taken into account. In addition, special modules for linear transfer lines with lifting tools are also available.
